End of Season Update Event

From Jon Bankoff, president of West Hartford Youth Hockey:

  • Our End of Season Event is slated for Sunday, March 18th at the XL Center from Noon - 3 pm, followed by the Wolfpack game at 5 pm against Charlotte. I have a list of players and families planning to be in attendance, based on online Registration and emails sent to me directly. I can't add additional registrants or attendees at this time, as I had to submit my list to the XL Center staff today in order to process and pay for all of our tickets. We have several Wolves' teams still potentially alive and competing for State titles this Sunday, so the # of skaters at the event may change dramatically between today and Sunday am. We will process the $5 refunds accordingly for those who signed up and end up not being able to attend. You do not have to attend the Wolfpack game, but you do have to have a ticket to get in to our End of Season Event at Noon. Tickets will be handed out to Team Managers or Coaches this week for distribution in advance of the event.
  • The Event itself will be a Skills Challenge modeled after the NHL All Star Skills Challenge. It will include assigned teams of players from every level / division competing against other similarly structured teams in a series of events / challenges. It is a super fun event and the kids will have a blast.
  • The League Awards will be announced and handed out at 2:15 pm and will be done on the ice, with all the kids there and the stands full of cheering fans. We will use the AV system and Jumbotron to make it extra special.
