We are always looking for more help - as many hands make light work - and great volunteers help make for a great seasons for our girls!  If you are interested in being a volunteer, there are a few steps of "paperwork" required.  There are two sets of administrative requirements depending on your role as a volunteer:  ALL VOLUNTEERS (board members, team parents, team managers, on-ice coaches, helpers, etc.) and ON-ICE VOLUNTEERS (any coaches, assistants, and helpers who plan to be on the ice or the bench).

ALL VOLUNTEERS (on and off ice)

Step 1 - Register with USA Hockey.

> On-Ice Volunteers - register as an "Ice Player/Coach".

> Off-Ice Volunteers - register as an "Ice Manager/Volunteer."  This registration is free.

Step 2 - Register as a Capital Wolves Volunteer.  Click here.  Update your account with your new USA Hockey number.

Step 3 - Complete CT Hockey Conference (CHC) Background Screening.  If you did not complete a screening last year, click here.

Step 4 - Complete USA Hockey SafeSport Training.  This free training is required every two years.

ON-ICE VOLUNTEERS (coaches, assistants, helpers)

Step 5 - Complete USA Hockey Age-Specific Training Module for the age group you are coaching.

Step 6 - Schedule & Attend the appropriate age-group USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP).

> Attend a CEP Clinic if your certification if required (expiration, coaching up a level, etc.).
